The Clarence Valley Domestic and Family Violence Committee has launched 16 Days of Activism Against Domestic Violence. The campaign is spreading the word of ZERO Tolerance of Domestic Violence in the Clarence Valley – the Challenge will continue throughout the 16 Days.

16 Days of Activism Against Domestic Violence runs from November 25 through to December 10 – during this time, Clarence Valley coffee shops will be serving up coffee in cups with Domestic Violence contact numbers printed on them and the committee will be holding another event in Grafton on Friday December 6 at Market Square Grafton, 4.00pm – 6.00pm which will include orange shirt designing, a free BBQ plus information and freebies.

Domestic Violence is a primary killer of women in Australia. 2018 saw 69 women and 21 children die from Domestic Violence which is a statistic that is not reducing in Australia.
