Foundations Care Connect is operating a number of streams of business, all designed to assist with the care a provision of our children and young people in the community.
The first being Holiday Hut programs run out of our Ballina House. These are therapeutic day programs designed around small groups and offer a complete supervised program for children in the local area. We can provide supervised transport to and from the events if required.
We also have some overnight therapeutic camps being help before and after Christmas in the Wauchope Hinterland for children in Out of Home Care.
And finally, we are providing transport, supervised transport, In home Care and Supervised Contact where needed to assist children, parents and families.

The Heart of Woman Awards are now in their sixth year, and we are proud to be recognising those women who make an outstanding contribution in our Community. 3Es (Education, Employment, Empowerment) to Freedom Sewing Group will be selling the products they have been making this year at Bangalow Markets this Sunday 22nd November from 9 am to 3 pm.
We will be delighted to see any of you coming to support our ladies.
They will be selling shoulder bags, shopping bags, pouches, make-up bags, girls and women’s dresses, hats. Jewellery and other handmade items.

The Buttery and headspace Grafton are starting a drama club for young people in the Clarence Valley. This group is open to everyone aged 12-24 who would like to build confidence, improvisation skills and meet new people through theatre sports games.

In particular we are seeking perspectives of people who represent communities and priority groups including (but not limited to) Aboriginal/First Nations, LGBTIQ+, young people, older people, and men. We would love to hear from people with lived experience of suicidal crisis and families/supporters as well as service providers and community groups/agencies.
The survey is confidential and responses will solely be used for the co-design feedback loop where only aggregate data (not individual responses) will be used to inform the co-design decisions.

The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Reablement Community of Practice has just been launched and provides a discussion forum for CHSP providers to engage with other providers about wellness and reablement.
The CHSP reablement community is managed by providers that deliver Sector Support and Development services with a focus on wellness and reablement.
