You are invited to participate in an Aboriginal business procurement workshop with the major work contractor building the Coffs Harbour bypass project.
The workshop will be run by the major work contractor – Ferrovial Gamuda Joint Venture – with support from Transport for NSW. The object of this session is to connect Aboriginal businesses from the Coffs Harbour area and surrounds directly with the joint venture.
As well as receiving an update on the project and procurement lookahead, we are aiming to have an open and collaborative discussion with local Aboriginal businesses about capability, skills and training, partnerships and procurement support. We also want to hear about Aboriginal businesses’ experiences on other roads and civil projects to inform the best approach for Coffs bypass.
Wednesday 23 November, 3pm – 5pm
Coffs Harbour International Stadium Hub 2 (upstairs function area)
Confirm RSVP to [email protected] with your business name and the name/s of employees attending the workshop.
You may have also seen the invitation for a mainstream industry briefing and procurement event for local businesses and suppliers being held at Pacific Bay Resort on Friday 25 November. You are encouraged to attend both, however, the workshop referred to in this email is exclusively for Aboriginal businesses.
If you would like to contact the major work contractor please email [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch.
