The biennial NSW Aboriginal Child and Family Conference is a key event for those working with Aboriginal children and families in NSW.
The conference will be held from 19 to 21 November 2019 at the picturesque Opal Cove Resort, Coffs Harbour.
There is no other event in NSW where attendees can talk with practitioners, academics, organisations and community members about how we work together
for better outcomes for our kids and families.
The conference theme is Strong Communities, Strong Kids. We will put the focus firmly on strategies for involving Aboriginal youth, families and communities in
developing services and policies that lead to system change.
This year’s conference will also feature the inaugural NSW Aboriginal Child and Family Awards, celebrating those working to support Aboriginal children, families and communities. Find a list of the award categories on website. If you know someone who has made outstanding achievements to improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and families, nominate them.
