We are working on pulling together a printed resource (working title = THRIVE) detailing as many free community activities and events in the Clarence as possible. The focus is on social connectedness and will include the NSOA School Holiday Program and OHC Mental Health Month Calendar as features. If you know of a free community activity or event (may be a one-off in October/ November or a regular ongoing occurrence) that you think should be included please forward the details to me at [email protected] by 4.00pm Friday 13 September 2019.

The kinds of things we have on our list already are Park Runs, Play Groups, Youth Drop-In, Community Meals, Ukulele Groups, Men’s Sheds, Women’s Groups and Men’s Groups.

We will be actively promoting the guide from the beginning of the September School Holidays, throughout Mental Health Month, right up until Social Inclusion Week in November.
