If you live around Mullumbimby and you want to create an original hip hop song and music video, then get along to a five-day workshop from 26th to 30th September.

There is a call-out 13 to 18 years olds from flood affected communities in the shire. Participants will be guided through all stages of songwriting, rhyming, lyrics, video concept, storyboarding, choreography and performance toward the production of a group music video. To celebrate, the final video will be included at a special Flickerfest community screening in Mullumbimby on the 8th of October.

Mullum’s  One Vision Productions is collaborating with Flickerfest and supported by the Office for Regional Youth Holiday Break Program to deliver the workshops.

One Vision Productions is a not for profit organisation that uses music as a tool for mental health based in Byron Bay and Flickerfest a screening platform for short films based in Mullumbimby.
