A new research-to-practice brief has been published by the Australian Childhood Foundation Centre for Excellence in Therapeutic Care titled ‘Enabling young people’s participation in residential care decision-making’.

The brief draws from international literature to examine: what is participation, and why is it important, in residential out-of-home care?

What are the most effective models of participation, and how can practitioners enable the participation of young people, in their own lives, in program design and organisational decision making?
