Northern Rivers Community Centre (NRCLC) is offering monthly opportunities for the community to seek free civil advice in Kyogle.
The center offers appointments for people to discuss legal issues or questions they have. Conversations will be kept confidential.
Community members can seek advice and assistance in many areas including credit debts and fines, employment, discrimination, traffic matters, consumer issues, stolen generations reparation scheme, family violence and victims support.
Advice can be given face to face or by phone. Appointments are necessary and can be be made by calling 1 800 689 889.
Upcoming dates include 16 September, 14 October, and 18 November. The events be held at ‘The Laneway Community Space’ at 161 Summerland Way next to the pool in Memorial Park on a Monday.
