New South Wales Environment, Energy and Science is looking to fill Cultural Scientists (identified) roles. The jobs are withing the Cultural Science team and support Aboriginal communities to realise their autonomy and self-determination in land and water management and planning.

As a member of the Cultural Science Team, you will be contributing to research-based projects that aim to address challenges and issues faced by Aboriginal communities involved with land and water management and planning as they partner with programs run by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. The Cultural Science Team is seeking people who are driven to help understand the causes and implement solutions to realise Aboriginal cultural outcomes in land and water management and planning.

The positions:

  • Aboriginal identified opportunities – salary from $95,516 + super
  • Three ongoing and two temporary positions in the Cultural Science team
  • Location: Parramatta or by negotiation around other key Science, Economics or Insights
  • Division locations in New South Wales
