A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ABORIGINAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST…

Reporting to the Manager of Aboriginal Employment, the Aboriginal Employment Specialist is responsible for providing a project management methodology around key projects related to our Aboriginal employment strategy. You will assist with the design and implementation of strategies that deliver on TAFE NSW’s commitment to increasing Aboriginal employment across all levels, groups, locations and roles.

You will be working with a dedicated Aboriginal employment team with a strong project management methodology who work as one team to ensure all elements of TAFE NSW Aboriginal Employment Strategy and our Reconciliation Action Plan are key to our planning and results.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role you will need to have the ability to work across a broad team of People and Culture staff with key relationship development with our talent acquisition team. You will have previously worked in a role with expertise related to managing an Aboriginal employment strategy or Reconciliation Action Plan.
