StandBy Support after Suicide is running a free ‘supporting community through grief and loss’ workshop on Wednesday, August 24. Please join us for morning tea at the Ballina Surf Club.
It has been a difficult three years, particularly on the North Coast of New South Wales, and this workshop aims to assist service providers to better help clients and participants navigate the grief and resulting loss of normalcy.
It will also cover how different grieving styles can manifest in difficulties in the people we support and how we can help people regulate during difficult times. Lastly it will touch on how we can work collaboratively to respond to a suicide and have these referral pathways established before there is a loss.
If you have any staff who would like to attend, please RSVP to [email protected] or phone 0417119298.
