Right now, young people are really struggling. 1/4 are dealing with mental health issues, 1/5 do not go to school and over 28,000 sleep rough. RiverTracks (www.rivertracks.org) is a new local organisation set up to work with the young people in the Tweed Valley doing it tough. They are currently running a crowd fundraising campaign where until the end of June every $1 gets matched (all donations are tax-deductible).  You can find out more and make a donation by clicking here you can go into the draw to win one of two $100 vouchers by simply sharing the crowdfunding campaign on Facebook with a photo of your pet, why they make you happy and tagging the RiverTracks Facebook page (that way we can match your donation with your post on Facebook). All entries need to be made before the end of June. See how it is done here!

About us:

RiverTracks is a local program that has been established by a group of Tweed Valley community members that connects struggling young people to a safe, supportive and inclusive community of mentors and peers through opportunities to connect with animals, give back to the community and learn practical work skills development that can lead to a better future. To start our work we are establishing a program that will run 1-2 days per week with a group of 8-10 disengaged 13-16 year old boys in the Murwillumbah area; starting around September. The program will partner with businesses, community organisations, farmers and training providers and will focus on building relationships with the participants to develop the program further.

RiverTracks needs our community… support our crowdfunding campaign!

RiverTracks is a community led organisation that is creating programs to support young people at risk of getting ‘off track’. Our Crowdsourcing campaign will get us the $ we need to do this work. As a part of our community there are 3 ways you can support your community.

Every $ you donate is tax-deductible AND will be matched by an amazing donor that is supporting RiverTracks. So you give us $100 and then BAM… it turns into $200! How good is that!?!?

Facebook makes the world go round! Do do the Facebook boogie and click the link above to share our post and help spread the word about our campaign to all your wonderful friends.

Click the link above to register and come along to the Citadel in Murwillumbah on Tuesday 15th of June 6-8pm! Eat a slice of pizza, have a drink and enjoy the live music while we celebrate the work of the RiverTracks team and gather as a community to support this project. A night of fun, good vibes and community celebration.

Please take up this great opportunity to show you believe in the difference practical skills, focused support and work with youth at risk youth can make.

We will offer a lifeline to struggling young people by connecting them to community, practical learning and life changing opportunities that create hope and pathways for a better future.

We need you; as part of our community to get behind us now so we can start operating and show the broader community how much of a difference we can make.

Donate now and your contribution will be matched $ for $

Thank you!!!
