The fresh-look Spring Newsletter is bursting with updates, some exciting news and heart-warming stories thanks to the continued support of our wonderful donors and funding partners.

Spring has brought with it a sense of new beginnings, and it feels like we’re coming out of what has been a very long Winter. For some in our community, this has been the toughest Winter of their life, while for others, Covid-19 has brought with it welcome respite from the manic pace of everyday life as we knew it.

We, the Staff and Board of NRCF have been privy to stories of both extreme hardship and great fortune in the wake of Covid-19. We live in a very special place indeed, and despite a few controversial issues that have divided some in our community of late, we have witnessed so much genuine care and compassion playing out across the Northern Rivers, and unbelievable generosity.

Every day we are inspired by people in our beloved community stepping up to empower those who are struggling, or help find solutions to secure a sustainable future for our children. Here at NRCF we are a community within a community, and friends for life. After sixteen years of doing what we do, and as the only Community Foundation in the Northern Rivers, our role of connecting those who care with those in need is proving to be more important than ever.

So, sit back, relax and read about how the seeds that were planted long ago have been bearing baskets of abundant fruit over the last quarter.

On behalf of all of us here at NRCF, have a beautiful Spring and we look forward to seeing you soon!
