Working with Aged Care Clients Who Experienced Childhood Trauma in Care is a free online course developed by Elm Place and the Australian Institute of Social Relations and funded by the Australian Government Department of Health through the Dementia and Aged Care Services Fund.

There are three parts to the course.

·         Identifying the people and why

·         What is complex childhood trauma and why it is relevant for workers in aged care

·         What does it mean for your workplace and you?

Completing this course provides evidence towards Standard 7 of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
