Better Chances Forum (BCF) is proud to present this free professional development opportunity, Becoming more trauma responsive in our work, on 26 September.
This workshop has been developed for Northern Rivers working professionals with children, young people and their families.
Following on from our workshop at the 2019 Better Chances Regional Forum on 13 June (see attached, p6), we are scheduling 3 workshops in Lismore, Tweed Heads and Clarence Valley to explore what we need to be more trauma responsive in our work.
We will be challenged to think about what we need to do differently in our practice as individuals and collectively, what we need from our organisations and systems, and how BCF can communicate and support this change.

* The Lismore workshop will be held in place of the previously scheduled BCF steering group meeting. We have scheduled the workshop at this time to make best use of the time many people have already scheduled to contribute to BCF. We will be in touch again soon about ongoing arrangements for the BCF Steering Group.
